Welcome to the West Central Soccer Association.
We are a non profit organization based in Morris, Minnesota. We have an active men's soccer league as well as an active youth league for children ages 7-18.
Students who have completed grades 1 and 2 can participate in the Little Loons Program. These young player learn soccer in an environment based on learning basic skills and having fun. This is an in house program and this team has minimal travel. Players will meet up with the Minnewaska Mallards for 2 games during the season.
The youth program has hosted three traveling teams over the past several years - U10, U12, and U14. We will be adding teams for U16 and U18 for the 2025 season. These teams belong to the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) and play in the NSSL League. This league includes teams from Alexandria, Fergus Falls, Detroit Lakes, Fargo, Thief River Falls, Grand Forks, Brainerd, and Walker. The NSSL league does a great job scheduling games at central locations so that we can play a variety of teams. These teams also play in 2-3 tournaments during the season. Christina Pederson is our Youth League Coordinator.
The West Central Soccer Association also has a very active men's league. They have a summer season as well as a winter season and bring hundreds of soccer players to our community. Juan Cid is the Men's League Coordinator.
The West Central Soccer Association exists to promote soccer as a way of building community, intercultural relationships, family and inter generational participation in the lives of youth and adults.
The soccer fields are located on the south of the Morris Area High School. Parking is available in the student parking lot. The new fields are located down the hill, towards the bus garage.
